I don’t love you anymore
I don’t feel my heart fluttering
Don’t see you in the picture frame of my future

I don’t love you anymore
I don’t want to kiss your tears after an argument
Don’t hear myself whispering sweet nothings in between apologies

I don’t love you anymore
I don’t feel a gaping loss when you walk away
Don’t miss the lips that assure me you’d stay

I don’t love you anymore
There is just…
no reason for it

from the butterflies in my stomach,

to the warmth of holding you,

the wonder of looking at all of you,

to loving all that is you

It simply had faded amidst the soft closing of doors, the creaking of the bed and the tangled limbs reminding us of the comfort of having each other

It is that simple.

I just…

I just don’t love you anymore.
